Foster/Kinship Youth Scholarship (Assistance League of Diablo Valley)

The Foster/Kinship Youth Scholarship, sponsored by the Assistance League of Diablo Valley, is for current or former dependents of the court in the foster care program and current or former youth in the kinship program.

Deadline: March 15, 2024

Amount: $1,000.00 – $4,000.00

Requirements:

• Eligible applicants include current or former dependents of the court in the foster care program of Contra Costa County who are living in that county or elsewhere, or current or former dependents of the court in the foster care program of another county who are living in Contra Costa County, and current or former youth in the kinship program of Contra Costa County who are living in that county or elsewhere, or current or former youth in the kinship program of another county who are living in Contra Costa County.
• Applicant must be enrolling in or attending an accredited four-year college, community college or vocational school, or a community college graduate transferring to an accredited four-year college or university
• Applicant must not be an Assistance League chapter member, an Assisteens® member, the relative of a chapter member, or an employee of Assistance League of Diablo Valley
