Returning to School Scholarship (Assistance League of Diablo Valley)

The Returning to School Scholarship, sponsored by the Assistance League of Diablo Valley, is a scholarship for non-traditional and re-entry students who are Contra Costa County residents.

Deadline: April 8, 2024

Amount: up to $4,000.00

Requirements:

• High school graduate with a minimum 2.5 GPA or a GED recipient.
• Planning to attend or currently enrolled in an accredited community college or vocational school. Applicant may also be transferring to a four-year school from a community college.
• Resident of Contra Costa County, California.
• Must be a non-traditional student or a re-entry student. Student must have significantly delayed enrollment in an academic institution or have a significant gap in their education path.
• May not be an Assistance League chapter member, the relative of a chapter member, an Assisteens® member, or an employee of Assistance League of Diablo Valley
• Interviews for semi-finalists will be held in Walnut Creek, CA on April 26, 2024 and April 27, 2024. Applicants must be available on these dates.
