California Homebuilding Foundation Scholarship

The California Homebuilding Foundation Scholarship opportunity is available to students with a declared major in Construction Management who have demonstrated financial need and plan to pursue a career in the California homebuilding industry.

Deadline: November 22, 2024

Amount: $500.00

Requirements:

• Construction Management major
• Planning a career in the California homebuilding industry after graduation
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at DVC
• Financial need

To apply, submit to the DVC Scholarship Office by November 22, 2024 the following documents:

• Unofficial DVC transcript
• A “Scholarship Request Letter/Personal Statement” (minimum of 300 words) in which you discuss your educational and career goals, your intention to pursue a career in the California homebuilding industry, the reason(s) you are pursuing a career in the California homebuilding industry, how receiving this scholarship would help you meet your educational goals, and the semester in which you plan to graduate from DVC
• Signed copy of 2023 tax return or other evidence of financial need
• Photo (300+DPI)
• Signed and dated statement indicating that, if selected to receive a scholarship, you agree to complete the post-scholarship survey administered by the California Homebuilding Foundation.
