Asian American Women's Alliance (AAWA) 2019 Scholarship

AAWA is offering four (4) AAWA Scholarship Awards of $500 each to Asian American and Pacific Islander students of any gender who have strong academic records, are passionately involved in their schools and/or community, and are dedicated to social change. The Asian American Women’s Alliance (AAWA) was founded in 1996 and is a volunteer-based, non-profit 501© 3 organization. Our funding comes from donors and fund-raising activities, and is spent on social change and community services. The alliance members are actively dedicated to building personal and professional support among Asian American women in all their walks of life. AAWA seeks to create opportunities for mutual learning, nurturing mentor relationships, engaging in career and leadership development, while encompassing all diversity the community has to offer.

Requirements:

• Asian American and Pacific Islander students of any gender who are enrolled in high school (as a senior), college, or graduate school

• MUST attend AAWA Career Seminar to be able to receive scholarship; Travel funds are not covered
