AAUW Concord Scholarship

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is the nation’s leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls. Since our founding in 1881, AAUW members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day – educational, social, economic, and political. AAUW Concord’s Educational Foundation awards $1500 scholarships to women transferring to a four-year college/university.

Deadline: March 18, 2026

Amount: $1,500.00

Requirements:

• Female DVC student transferring to a four-year college/university and enrolling for a minimum of 12 units in Fall 2026
• Minimum 3.5 GPA
• Reside in Contra Costa County
• U.S. citizen preferred but not required
• Completed minimum of 60 semester units upon graduation from DVC
• Financial need
• Must have submitted a complete online DVC scholarship application by the February 12, 2026 deadline
• Submit completed application and all required documents to the DVC Scholarship Office at scholarships@dvc.edu by the deadline of March 18, 2026
