PEO Sisterhood, Chapter GX, Carolyn Chrisman Continuing Scholarship

PEO is a philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women and educate women through scholarships, grants and loans, motivating women to achieve their highest aspirations. Carolyn Chrisman was a member of the organization for more than 30 years. PEO is offering two scholarships in the amount of $500 (must be made via direct deposit) to DVC students who meet the following requirements.

Deadline: March 11, 2024

Amount: $500.00

Eligibility Requirements:

• Female DVC student who is completing at least one year and plans to continue at DVC
• Enrolling with at least 8 units for next semester
• U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Financial need
• Community service
• Must have submitted a complete online DVC scholarship application by the February 15, 2024 deadline

Application Requirements:

1. Signed PEO Sisterhood, Chapter GX, Carolyn Chrisman Continuing Scholarship Application
2. Copy of completed DVC scholarship application
3. Unofficial DVC transcript
4. Two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a DVC faculty member (DVC
   professor, instructor, teacher, or academic counselor). The recommendation letter cannot be from a relative.
5. Submit completed application and all required documents to the DVC Scholarship Office at scholarships@dvc.edu by the deadline of March 11, 2024
