AAUW Danville-Alamo-Walnut Creek Branch Single Parent Scholarship

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is a national organization founded in 1881. The mission of AAUW is equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy. Their vision is equity for all. The Danville-Alamo-Walnut Creek Branch provides community education programs and advocates for honest, inclusive public education and learning environments where everyone feels safe. Nationally, AAUW works to narrow the gender pay gap, champion equal opportunities in education, and support legislation that promotes their mission. This scholarship assists in supporting the education of a single parent. Criteria: single parent; 3.0 GPA; completed at least 12 units; financial need; DVC continuing or transferring student.
