Rob Peters Family Journalism Scholarship

The Rob Peters Family Scholarship is awarded to two deserving Journalism students annually at Diablo Valley College who have demonstrated their commitment to journalism through accurate and compelling reporting and storytelling, or who have in some way showcased excellent writing and newspaper skills while producing fact-based news, feature or column stories at the Inquirer, DVC’s award-winning newspaper. Criteria: Majoring in Journalism or a clearly-related field such as Communications, English, Creative Writing, Film, Television and Electronic Media, etc.; 3.0 GPA; on track to transfer to a 4-year university; DVC continuing or transferring student.
