Joe and Debra Downs Scholarship

This scholarship is to honor Dr. Joe Downs and Ms. Debra Ammons Downs who have devoted their professional lives to serving underprivileged families in their community by providing them with healthcare and educational opportunities for upward mobility.  Criteria: Declared major in Nursing, Allied Health, or premedical intent or a career in K-12 education; community service; minimum 2.5 GPA; demonstrated financial need; priority will be given to first-generation students, continuing students, and continuing or transferring student parents.
